Week 11 Predictions
Last week was another poor week. I finished 40-21, for a poor 65.6%. That brings my overall record down to 471-160, or 74.6%. It's going to be difficult to get back to 75% or more.
Anyway, I remain undaunted, and forge ahead with this week's picks. I had hoped to get these out earlier, but I ended up subbing every day, and worked the after school program 3 days. Wednesday was only a half day, but we ended up going to Toccoa so my son could go to play practice at my other son's church. So I didn't have a lot of time, and didn't get home until around 11 pm.

Tuesday Games
Akron over Miami, Oh (they lost!)
Buffalo over Bowling Green (they won)
Wednesday Games
WMU over Kent St (they won)
Toledo over Ohio (they lost)
C Mich over E Mich (they won)
Thursday Games
N Illinois over Ball St (they won)
App St over Ga Southern (they won- poor Ga Southern...)
Pitt over UNC (they lost)
Friday Games
Temple over Cincinnati- Both teams are desperate to get to 6 wins and bowl eligibility. This should be a good, close game.
Washington over Stanford- The Huskies will continue to roll, but the Cardinal will put up a fight. I see Washington pulling away late.
UNLV over BYU- In any normal year, the Cougars win this handily. This isn't a normal year, and the Rebels are vying for a bowl berth.
Saturday Games
Ohio St over Mich St- The Buckeyes will be looking to make a statement after their blowout loss to Iowa last week, and the Spartans are in the way. Either can almost lock up the division crown with a win, but more has to happen.
Penn St over Rutgers- The Scarlet Knights are much improved this year, but not enough to challenge the Nittany Lions.
Okla St over Iowa St- I would love for the Cyclones to win here, and stay in the Big12 race, but I don't see them beating the Cowboys.
UCF over UConn- The Golden Knights' undefeated season continues over a woeful Huskies squad.
LSU over Arkansas- While the Razorbacks have a chance at a bowl game, the Tigers are much better. However, this is always a close game, and I would not be surprised if the Razorbacks keep it close.
NC State over Boston College- The Wolfpack have had a good season thus far, but a loss to the Eagles would greatly diminish their year.
Duke over Army- Duke will be pressing hard for a bowl bid, but Army will give them a good run (pun intended!).
Baylor over Texas Tech- The Bears have been close to several much better teams, and this time they will break through against an inconsistent Red Raider team that has struggled at times this year.
Ole Miss over Louisiana- The Rebels should roll over the Ragin' Cajuns.
S Carolina over Florida- The Gators seem to have given up on this season, and the Gamecocks will take advantage.
Indiana over Illinois- The Hoosiers finally get a conference win, and the Illini will be their victims.
Nebraska over Minnesota- Most years, this would be an obvious pick, but lately...
Va Tech over Ga Tech- The Yellow Jackets' season continues to spiral down.
Mid Tenn over Charlotte- The Blue Raiders win easily.
Wake Forest over Syracuse- This should be a really close game, as these two teams are evenly matched.
Georgia over Auburn- The Dawgs have their toughest challenge since Notre Dame. Can they handle the pressure?
Clemson over FSU- At the beginning of this year, this was highly anticipated. Today, not so much...
Wisconsin over Iowa- Hard to see the Hawkeyes pulling off back-to-back upsets, especially with this one on the road.
Louisville over Virginia- While the Cavaliers have had a breakthrough season, the Cardinals should win this at home.
Michigan over Maryland- The Wolverines should win this easily.
Kansas St over W Virginia- The Wildcats should pull out a close one at home.
SMU over Navy- This is my upset special.
FAU over La Tech- Count me as an Owls believer.
S Miss over Rice- The Golden Eagles achieve bowl eligibility over the Owls.
USC over Colorado- I'm still not picking the Buffalos...
UMass over Maine- The Minutemen should defeat this FCS foe.
Ga St over Texas St- I keep waiting for the Panthers to lay an egg, but they keep winning.
Nevada over San Jose St- Neither team is any good. Went with the home team...
Kentucky over Vandy- The Wildcats are a good team, with horrible luck.
Troy over C Carolina- The Trojans should have no problem with the Chanticleers.
Ark St over S Alabama- The Red Wolves should continue their march to a conference championship with an easy win over the Jaguars.
N Texas over UTEP- The Miners may win a game this year, but this won't be it.
Wash St over Utah- The Cougars still have a chance to win the decision, but must get past a Ute team trying to get to bowl eligibility.
Texas over Kansas- The Longhorns will continue the Jayhawks' miserable season.
WKU over Marshall- I am off the Thundering Herd train...
Alabama over Miss St- The Tide roll on...
UAB over UTSA- I foresee another close game that could go either way.
Tulane over ECU- Neither team is any good...
Texas A&M over New Mexico- Won't be close...
Northwestern over Purdue- The Wildcats pull this out late.
FIU over ODU- The Panthers win on the road.
Missouri over Tennessee- The Volunteers are another team that has given up.
Miami over Notre Dame- Everyone else seems to think the Fighting Irish will win, but Richt coached teams no how to stop the option, whether it be the triple variety or the read option.
TCU over Oklahoma- I see the Horned Frogs pulling off the upset; good defense beats good offense.
UCLA over Ariz St- The Sun Devils have let me down the last 2 weeks. However, The Bruins have let me down all year!
Arizona over Oregon St- The Beavers are a terrible team. Wildcat QB Khalil Tate will run wild.
Wyoming over Air Force- The Falcons have had a disappointing season, but the Cowboys have played well of late.
Boise St over Colo St- I thought the Rams would win their division this year, but they have faded. The Broncos have gotten stronger as the season has worn on.
Fresno St over Hawaii- The Rainbows are usually tough on the islands, but the Bulldogs are too strong.
