Welcome Back! Last week, I was a fantastic 69-16, or 81.2% correct. Overall, I am 148-31, or 82.7%, a drop of 0.3% from last week. I typically finish around 73%, but my goal is always to finish at or above 75%. Now... on with the picks! Thursday, September 14 Bethune Cookman @ Miami, FL - The Hurricanes are coming off a fantastic performance against Texas A&M last week, and as long as they don't have a massive letdown, should run their record against the Wildcats to 7-0 in the series. Navy @ Memphis - The Tigers lead the series 5-3, with all 8 games coming in the last 8 years. Memphis has won the last 4 played, and is 3-1 in the games played at home. This is the conference opener for both teams, and the Midshipmen looked much better in shutting out an FCS team last week than they did in Week Zero against Notre Dame. Paul's Picks 2023 Week 2

Welcome Back! Last week, I was a fantastic 74-13, or 85.1% correct. Overall, I am 78-16, or 83%. This is probably the high water mark for the year, as I expect that percentage will steadily go down throughout the rest of the year, as I typically finish around 73%, but my goal is always to finish above 75%. Now... on with the picks! Thursday, September 7 Murray State @ Louisville - The Cardinals are 14-6 all-time against the in-state team, and they should move to 2-0 on the season when they down the Racers. Friday, September 8 Indiana State @ Indiana - The Hoosiers are 6-0 against the Sycamores, and should get their 1st win of the 2023 season. Illinois @ Kansas - The Illini lead the series 3-2, but the teams haven't played since 1968. The Jayhawks won the initial meeting 26-4 in 1892 (scoring rules were different then), and won the most recent meeting in '68 by a score of 47-7, but Illinois won the 3 in between, 30-0 in 1916, 22-0 in 1917, and 25-0 in 1929. Paul's Picks 2023 Week 5

Welcome Back! Last week, I was once again much better than usual, as I was 54-13, or 80.6% correct. Overall, I am 265-56, or 82.6%, a drop of 0.05% from last week. I typically finish around 73%, but my goal is always to finish at or above 75%. This week, there are a lot of conference matchups, and only a very few games against FCS opponents- 59 games overall, the fewest so far this season. With conference play in full swing, the games are much harder to predict, so my accuracy is likely to drop. Oh well; I'll enjoy being 80+% for as long as it lasts! Now... on with the picks! Thursday, September 28 Middle Tennessee @ WKU - The Hilltoppers lead the series 36-35-1, taking the lead by winning the last 4, and 7 of the last 8, including 35-17 last year. The Blue Raiders haven't won in Bowling Green since 2012.
