Power Rankings 12/2/25
Welcome Back!
Ten of the top 12 have changed, as we had no teams move more than 17 spots, with 122 teams staying within 9 spots of where they were last week.
Here is how far the teams moved:
Less than 10 spots- 122 teams (26 moved 0 or 1 spot) +5 from last week
10-19 spots- 14 (-2)
20-29 spots- 0 (-3)
30-39 spots- 0 (same)
The biggest mover up was Cal at +17, and down was UTSA at -17.
I did a little bit of a deeper dive to compare the conferences, and this is what I came up with:

If the Playoff started tomorrow, here is who would make it based on my rankings. Keep in mind the 5 highest ranked conference champions are automatically in, and I am assuming that the highest ranked team of each conference would be the champion. These would be the seedings:
1. Ohio St
2. Indiana
3. Oregon
4. Georgia
5. Texas Tech
6. Notre Dame
7. Texas A&M
8. Vanderbilt
9. Ole Miss
10. Alabama
11. Miami
12. UNT
I'm curious as to how this will compare to the CFP reveal tonight.
Remember, I am less interested in being correct now than I am in being correct at the end of the season, and I'm usually very close at the end of the season. However, this is probably the most accurate they have been all year due to every team (except UConn and Akron) having payed the same number of games.
Anyway, here are my new rankings from 1 to 136:
I will update these rankings each week throughout the season.
Feel free to leave a comment. Come back tomorrow for my Odds and Ends!
Until next time, may you and your loved ones be blessed!
