Undefeated/Winless teams

I will begin this feature after next week.

Bowl eligible/eliminated

Starting midseason, I keep a running list of teams as they reach bowl eligibility (6+ wins) or are eliminated from bowl eligibility (7+ losses)

Updates on my playoff picks

None of my picks played during Week Zero, so my 4 playoff picks of Alabama, Oho State, Georgia, and Utah are still looking good!

Games I'm Excited About

West Virginia @ Pittsburgh- Can the Mountaineers and new QB JT Daniels get off to a good start? Can the Panthers replicate last year's success with a new OC, QB, and WR?

Central Michigan @ Oklahoma State- Can the Chippewas pull off the huge upset yet again, this time without the help of the refs? Will the Cowboys build a big enough lead where a ref's mistake won't change the outcome?

Penn State @ Purdue- Can either team generate a running game? Will the Boilermakers be the team that gets off to a great start, or will it be the Nittany Lions?

Illinois @ Indiana- Will the Illini continue to roll and prove last week was the beginning of something good? Will the Hoosiers be able to bounce back from last year's disastrous results?

North Carolina @ Appalachian State- Can the Mountaineers pull the upset at home? Can the Tar Heels play better than last week and avoid that upset?

NC State @ East Carolina- Will the Wolfpack be able to put the hype behind them and take care of business? Can the Pirates shock the visitors and all of college football by pulling the upset?

Cincinnati @ Arkansas- Will the Bearcats take a step back after all their losses on defense, and the loss of QB Ridder? Will the Razorbacks be able to repeat the success of last season now that they won't be sneaking up on anyone?

Oregon vs Georgia- How will the Bulldogs handle the success of being the defending National Campions and all those losses on the defensive side of the ball? Are the Ducks ready to pull the upset under new HC Dan Lanning and new QB Bo Nix, both of whom know the Dawgs well?

Houston @ UTSA- Will the Cougars and Roadrunners combine for 80 points or more? Will either team be able to stop the other?

Utah @ Florida- Are the Utes really a contender for a berth in the CFP? How good will the Gators be in their 1st year under new HC Billy Napier?

Army at Coastal Carolina- Will the Black Knights control the clock and keep the CCU offense off the field? Or will the Chanticleers take a lead and force Army to play catch up?

Georgia State @ South Carolina- How will the Gamecocks do in QB Spencer Rattler's debut? Can the Panthers put another scare, and perhaps pull the upset, in another SEC stadium?

Notre Dame @ Ohio State- Can the Fighting Irish defense slow down the OSU offense? Will the Buckeyes blow out the visitors?

FSU @ LSU- Will the Seminoles be any better in HC Mike Norvell's 3rd season? How will the Tigers look in HC Brian Kelly's debut?

Clemson @ Georgia Tech- Will the Yellow Jackets be able to score? Will the Tigers be able to move the ball any better than last year and avoid turnovers, and will it matter in this game?

Feel free to leave a comment. Come back tomorrow for Paul's Picks!

Until next time, may you and your loved ones be blessed!
