Power Rankings 12/3/24
Welcome Back! Power Rankings With the regular season completed, these can be considered the "final" rankings for the season. However, I will update after the conference CG's, and again after the bowls. I'm going to continue to show you how the CFP bracket would be set up if the committee were using my Power Rankings. For the purposes of this exercise, I'll use the highest ranking conference member as its champion. Please realize this is based on where they are now, not where I expect them to finish. #8 Penn State would host #9 Ohio State, with the winner moving on to play #1 Texas #5 Notre Dame would host #12 Boise State, with the winner taking on #4 Arizona State #6 Indiana would host #11 South Carolina for the privilege of playing #3 SMU #7 Georgia would host #10 Tennessee, with the winner facing #2 Oregon This bracket has 4 SEC teams, 4 from the Big Ten, and 1 team each from the ACC, Big XII, and MWC, along with Notre Dame.
